8 week course, between week 2-9 2023
RUSSIAN CLASSIQUE OPEN LEVEL (open level, basic knowledge recommended)
In this one-hour class, we spend as much time as possible creating fancy choreography, we alternate between different combos and steps with a focus on the dancing itself. They want to say we avoid tricks and spins and instead focus on movements and classic dance moves around the pole.
The course focuses on teaching a number of shorter choreographies at the beginning of the course as well as a longer choreography that spans the last part of the course.
Suitable for those with basic knowledge who enjoy choreography and want to broaden their skills.
Requirements: Open Level means that it is suitable for a wide audience where alternatives can be provided if needed. We recommend that you have completed at least pole level 1 (PoleRookie), Russian Classique Beginner or another equivalent course so that it does not feel too heavy or difficult.
Style: On this course we dance according to the ”flow” style, which is characterized by soft undulating movements that seamlessly flow into each other and create a hypnotic flow. The style is influenced by other dance styles and sports such as ballet, oriental dance and gymnastics etc. Classic movements are leg waves, body rolls, smooth transitions between floor and bar as well as effective tricks and spins.
